Lunch Bunch:  Join the rest of the Prairie Hill Family in the Fellowship Hall for our Annual Meeting.

Cover Photo:  When I a little girl, I was walking with my mom down to the barn.  I said, “Mom, do you know how to skip?”  She showed me that she did.  Then I asked, “How come grown-ups never have any fun?”  She wanted to know why I would ask that.  My response was, “well, they don’t skip or run, or pick wildflowers, or watch the butterflies and frogs.”  Isn’t it true that once things become “commonplace” to us, we lose sight of their awesomeness.  When the Israelites first saw manna, they were amazed.  But as time went on, they began to take it for granted, and the wonder of this supernatural sustenance dwindled.  As we go through life this week, may we be cognizant of the great love He has for us, that He would be called His children.  Each and every day is a gift from God.  Enjoy is wondrous gifts.  And, don’t let His great love become “commonplace.”

Annual Business Today:  Our annual meeting of the church will follow our morning worship service.  All who attend Prairie Hill are encouraged to attend.

Our Sympathy: The Prairie Hill family was saddened by the death of Anne Crystal on Monday.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Crystal family; Kevin, Katie, and Lisa.  She will be missed, but we know she is now pain free. She was a blessing to our church family and her memory will live on.

Thank You:  We would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards, caring thoughts, and prayers after the passing of my mom, Algie.  (She was also Monte and Bethany Castleman’s grandmother.)

Prayer Request:  In a silver bucket on the Welcome Booth are the names of the youth from Prairie Hill that do not yet have someone praying for them.  All that is required is to take a name and remember to pray for that youth regularly.  You will be blessed as you bless another.

New Salem Free Church:  This inner city church in Minneapolis is having a “linens” day in late February (in conjunction with their clothes corner ministry.)  If anyone has any of the items below that they would like to donate, please put them on the table outside the secretary’s office and they will be picked up.  Items needed:  New or gently used towels, wash cloths, dish towels, dish cloths, sheet and pillow case sets, blankets, comforters, and quilts.  New bed pillows are also needed.  Personal care items would also be welcomed.  New Salem Free Church is in our mission’s budget.

Thank You:  We would like to thank Margie Christenson for coordinating our worship service today.
